Planting Seeds of Sustainability: A Memorable Earth Day Celebration

We had the pleasure of celebrating World Earth Day at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik with the wonderful children from Trsteno Kindergarten. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and planting for a greener tomorrow.

The resort's newly established vegetable garden served as the focal point for this meaningful event, where the children had the opportunity to plant a variety of vegetables alongside our dedicated team which led an engaging planting activity, guiding the children through the process step by step. With enthusiasm and curiosity, they got their hands dirty, learning about the importance of nurturing and caring for our environment.

As a token of our appreciation and to ensure a lasting memory of this special day, each child received flower seedlings to take back to their kindergarten. These little plants symbolize the seeds of change we're sowing together for a more sustainable future.

After the planting session, it was time for some well-deserved treats at the Sports Centre. The children indulged in delicious snacks, their faces beaming with joy and satisfaction from their eco-friendly efforts.

The day concluded with playful moments at the playground, where the children ran, laughed, and forged friendships amidst the beauty of nature surrounding them.
