March at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik was marked by two meaningful initiatives, reinforcing our dedication to responsible business practices, community support, and workplace safety.

Giving Back: Blood Donation Drive

On March 12, employees and partners gathered at the resort’s Sports Center to support a life-saving initiative – donating blood for those in need. Thanks to the collaboration with the Dubrovnik Red Cross, 18 donors participated, and 12 units of blood were collected. A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who contributed, especially our employees who continue to show the power of solidarity and community spirit.

Preparedness in Action: Fire Drill & Safety Training

The following day, on March 13, safety took center stage as Sun Gardens Dubrovnik hosted its annual fire drill and evacuation exercise, organized in partnership with JVP Dubrovnik Firefighters – Orašac team. The resort’s fire response team participated in the drill, ensuring swift and efficient evacuation procedures. Afterward, employees attended a fire safety workshop, gaining hands-on experience with firefighting equipment and learning how to respond to different fire scenarios in controlled conditions.
